Data Deletion

TV Browser for Threads stores very minimal data. Here is exactly what is stored and how to delete it completely.

What data is stored

We do not store your username, posts, or any other Threads content on our servers at any time.

How to delete your data

Sign out in the app

Open TV Browser for Threads on your Apple TV → press Sign Out in the top bar. This immediately clears your access token from the device.

Delete the app

On your Apple TV go to Settings → Apps → TV Browser for Threads → Delete App. This removes all locally stored data permanently.

Revoke Threads access

Open the Threads app on your phone → Settings → Account → Apps and Websites → find TV Browser for Threads → Remove. This revokes API access entirely.

Automatic deletion

Any temporary login session data in Firebase is automatically deleted as soon as your Apple TV receives your access token. If sign-in is not completed, the session is automatically deleted after 10 minutes. No manual action is needed.

Request deletion

To formally request deletion of any data, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
