Short version: TV Browser for Threads does not collect, store, or share your personal data. We display your own Threads content on your Apple TV and, with your permission, fetch public Threads posts via keyword search. Nothing leaves your device to our servers.

1. Who we are

TV Browser for Threads is an independent Apple TV application that allows users to view their own Threads posts and videos on the big screen. We are not affiliated with Meta Platforms, Inc. or Threads.

4. How your access token is stored

When you sign in, an access token is issued by Threads (Meta) and stored locally on your Apple TV device. This token is used solely to fetch your own posts from the Threads API and is never transmitted to our servers.

5. Keyword Search — how it works

When you use the Search feature, your keyword or selected topic is sent directly to the Threads API (graph.threads.net/v1.0/keyword_search) on your behalf using your stored access token. We do not:

Results are fetched in real time and displayed only on your Apple TV. When you close the Search screen, the results are discarded from memory.
